The Guerrilla Student Film Festival is the unofficial annual celebration of outstanding work completed by the students in Biola University’s School of Cinema and Media Arts. The Film Festival has historically been run by a committee, which changes yearly, made up of students from all years and concentrations. While it is for Biola students and has the support of faculty and staff at Biola, it is not officially affiliated with the school. Our objective is to recognize students’ hard work and creativity, whilst connecting them with industry professionals. While the structure of the festival has had to change due to COVID-19, we’re still working hard to bring as much of the festival to students as possible.
Here on our site you can watch all the nominated films, sort the nominees by category, and see who’s involved in the projects. Our nominations are judged by Biola professors and industry professionals. You’ll be able to access our livestream of the ceremony on April 25th as well as other resources and articles leading up to the event. We hope that all Biola CMA students are able to use this year’s festival as a way to connect with each other and celebrate this year’s work despite the distance we’re all facing right now.
